Archazia's Island is Here | Our 5 Favorite Cards from the New Lorcana Set!

Disney Lorcana’s latest set, Archazia’s Island, is making waves, and with it comes a bunch of exciting new cards ready to shake up the game. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just here for the fantastic Disney artwork, there’s something for everyone in this set.

So, which cards stand out the most? Let’s dive into our top 5 cards from Archazia’s Island that are making players take notice!

Donald, Flustered Sorcerer Lorcana

5. Donald Duck - Flustered Sorcerer

Donald Duck is a Disney mainstay so it's only fitting that he takes a spot in the top 5. His ability Obfuscate! makes your opponent work that much harder to win the game. Moving their win condition from 20 to 25 is actually a pretty big deal and when paired with a Steel card that is also on our list, it can really gum up the game for the opposition.

Why it’s awesome:

  • Game altering ability

  • High defense and attack

  • Last chance drop

Gantu - Experienced Enforcer Lorcana

4. Gantu - Experienced Enforcer

If you like big, beefy characters that take over the board, Gantu is your guy. The Lilo & Stitch antagonist brings some serious defensive strength to the table, making it a nightmare for your opponent to get through. He’s the enforcer every deck needs when things get rough.

Why it’s awesome:

  • Tanky and tough to deal with

  • Great for stalling out aggressive decks

Mickey Mouse - Inspirational Warrior - Lorcana

3. Mickey Mouse - Inspirational Warrior

Steel getting a bunch of love in this set and Mickey Mouse - Inspirational Warrior only helps confirm that. His ability to cheat out characters for free whenever he banishes a character (though he's only a 1/1) is pretty game changing, especially early in the game when you don't have all the ink you need for those big drops.

Why it’s awesome:

  • Who doesn't love free drops?

  • Easily buffed

  • Low cost, big upside

Lady Tremaine - Bitterly Jealous - Lorcana

2. Lady Tremaine - Bitterly Jealous

Lady Tremain has become master of the yoink. Her ability That's Quite Enough lets you exhaust her to return ANY damaged character to its owners hand. This can stop you from losing characters or remove resources from your opponent's board. And to add insult to injury all of your opponents must discard a card.

Why it’s awesome:

  • Double threat

  • Mitigation

  • Just plain mean

Tamatoa - Happy as a Clam - Lorcana

1. Tamatoa - Happy as a Clam

Everyone's favorite Shiny Crab is back and this time his abilities are pretty nuts. Basically a fetch machine, Tamatoa lets you get 2 items back from your graveyard when he enters the field. Then when he quests you can play an item for free. A gamechanger that has garnered enough attention to fetch a $45 price tag on preorder.

Why it’s awesome:

  • Bring your stuff back!

  • Play stuff for free!

  • Maximum chaos!
