Exciting news for Pokémon TCG Pocket players: the long-awaited trading feature is set to launch later this month! This new functionality will allow you to trade cards with in-game friends, adding a fresh layer of strategy and collection management to your gameplay. Here is what we know so far about Pokémon TCG Pocket trading.
Key Details of PokEmon TCG Pocket Trading:
Friendship Requirement: Trades can only be conducted between players who are friends within the game.
Rarity Matching: You can trade cards of the same rarity level, ensuring balanced exchanges. For example, EX cards can only be traded for other EX cards.
Eligible Cards: Initially, trading will be limited to cards with rarities ranging from one to four diamonds, as well as single-star full-art cards. High-rarity cards, such as full-art EX and gold cards, will not be eligible for trading at launch.
Consumable Items: To complete a trade, certain in-game items must be used. While the specifics haven't been fully detailed, it's anticipated that these items may be purchasable with Poké gold, the in-game currency that can be acquired through real-money transactions.
The Pokémon Company has implemented these restrictions and requirements to maintain game balance and to manage the circulation of high-value cards. They are also encouraging player feedback to refine the trading system in future updates.
In addition to the trading feature, a new booster pack is expected to be introduced by the end of the month, potentially expanding the Mythical Island set or bringing a new expansion to the game.
Stay tuned for more updates, and prepare to enhance your card collection through trading with friends!
